The Specials live at the Paradiso, in Amsterdam, on 21 January 1980, during their European Tour 1980.  

The Specials brought their explosive blend of ska, reggae, rocksteady and punk energy to Amsterdam’s legendary Paradiso on 21 January 1980, as part of their first European tour. At the height of the emerging 2 Tone movement, the Coventry septet delivered a fast, tightly wound set that mixed their own material with classic Jamaican and ska favourites. The performance featured early Specials staples including Rat Race, Monkey Man and Too Much Too Young - a superb snapshot of The Specials at their rawest and most exciting, capturing the band just as the 2 Tone phenomenon was breaking into the mainstream.
