The Specials complete concert broadcast at the Paradiso, in Amsterdam, on 21 January 1980, during their European Tour 1980.  

The Specials brought their explosive blend of ska, reggae, rocksteady and punk energy to Amsterdam’s legendary Paradiso on 21 January 1980, as part of their first European tour. At the height of the emerging 2 Tone movement, the Coventry septet delivered a fast, tightly wound set that mixed their own material with classic Jamaican and ska favourites. The performance featured early Specials staples including Gangsters, Rat Race, A Message to You, Rudy, Monkey Man, Too Much Too Young and Little Bitch, culminating in a series of encores that included Liquidator, Skinhead Moonstomp, Madness and You're Wondering Now -  a superb snapshot of The Specials at their rawest and most exciting, capturing the band just as the 2 Tone phenomenon was breaking into the mainstream.
