The Sisters of Mercy – Land of the Kings: Oslo, 1985 (Limited Edition on Green Vinyl)

Limited to just 500 copies.

A powerful live recording capturing The Sisters of Mercy at Vikateatret, Oslo, Norway, on 16 May 1985. Recorded during the Armageddon Tour, this historic performance documents the group during the era of their seminal debut album, First and Last and Always, showcasing the classic line-up at a defining moment in their career.

Led by Andrew Eldritch’s unmistakable deep vocals, the band deliver a compelling set driven by the relentless rhythms of Doktor Avalanche, haunting guitar work and the distinctive bass lines that helped shape the gothic rock sound. Featuring fan favourites such as First and Last and Always, Marian, No Time to Cry, Walk Away and Amphetamine Logic, alongside a memorable cover of Hot Chocolate’s Emma, this release captures the raw intensity and dark romanticism of The Sisters of Mercy in their prime.
