His place was taken by Marky Ramone and the band moved into their most successful phase both commercially and artistically. The proof of the prowess of the new line-up on can be heard in this remarkable radio broadcast from WBUF FM in Buffalo on 8th February 1979. By this stage Marky was a fully-fledged member of the band which was now firing on all cylinders.
