This anthology documents New Order during their most pivotal period. Featuring two live sessions recorded for John Peel’s legendary BBC Radio show, during 1981 and 1982.

New Order appeared on John Peel‘s radio show more than once. But their first appearance, two months before the release of their debut single Ceremony, is perhaps the most intriguing. Recorded at the end of January 1981, it shows an early but fairly polished set from the very birth of a legend.The second session from the beginning of June 1982, reveals their artistic progression as they were reshaping electronic and post-punk music.
