Formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, and soon joined by vocalist Vince Neil and guitarist Mick Mars, Mötley Crüe quickly became one of the most notorious and influential bands of the Sunset Strip scene. Their 1981 debut album, Too Fast for Love, built a loyal following, but it was 1983's breakthrough release, Shout at the Devil, that launched them into the rock and metal mainstream.

This broadcast from Heavy Metal Sunday at the legendary 1983 US Festival captures the band exploding on to the world stage. This headline performance, on 29 May, captures the band at a pivotal moment - young, ambitious, and riding the momentum that would soon make them one of the biggest rock acts of the 1980s.

This limited-edition collector’s vinyl is hand numbered and is restricted to just 500 copies; hand pressed on splatter vinyl. Due to the manufacturing process each vinyl will have it’s own individual pattern – a true one of a kind!
