Jethro Tull were in superb form when they arrived at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania, during the tour supporting their Grammy-winning Crest of a Knave album. Fronted by the ever-charismatic Ian Anderson, the band delivered a dynamic performance showcasing their unique fusion of progressive rock, folk and hard rock, with Anderson's unmistakable flute and theatrical stage presence at the heart of the show. Captured for the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio broadcast, this superb recording offers a fascinating snapshot of Tull during one of their most successful periods of the 1980s.
