Badfinger – Live at the Cambridge Performance Center, 1974 (Limited Edition Double Album on 180g Red Vinyl)

Badfinger performing live at the Cambridge Performance Center, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on 31 March 1974.

Experience Badfinger live in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on 31 March 1974, with this limited-edition double album capturing the Welsh rock band during their American tour. Documenting the first show of the day, this performance features the classic line-up of Pete Ham, Tom Evans, Joey Molland and Mike Gibbins, showcasing the band's unmistakable blend of melodic power pop, infectious hooks and guitar-driven rock.

Performing at the intimate Cambridge venue, also known as The Garage, Badfinger shared the bill with fellow power-pop pioneers Big Star. Recorded during the era of Ass and Badfinger, the concert captures the band at a significant point in their career, combining their celebrated songwriting with a more expansive live sound.

The set features a superb selection of Badfinger favourites and album tracks, including Day After Day, Baby Blue, Perfection, No Matter What, Constitution and Suitcase. Extended performances of tracks such as Timeless and Blind Owl offer further insight into the band's live sound, with longer instrumental passages that go beyond their polished studio recordings.
