TEST PRESSINGS, often known as white label pressings, are copies produced from the masters by the pressing plants in tiny quantities of between ten and thirty copies. These test discs are then sent to the artists and record companies for approval before the main manufacturing is commenced.

These discs are very rare and much sought after by collectors as these are the working copies intended for the artists and label executives to check that the vinyl mastering process is true to the master tapes. The discs were not created for retail sale as part of a manufacturing run. They are genuine test pressings used at work in the industry by the artists and record labels.

SEX PISTOLS – SAME OLD TEN INCH BOLLOCKS IN PARIS

10-INCH DOUBLE ALBUM TEST PRESSING

DELUXE COLLECTOR'S EDITION

There was a huge swell of public approval when the original four Sex Pistols reunited in 1996 for the six-month Filthy Lucre Tour. The tour included dates in Europe, North and South America, Australia and Japan and tickets sold out immediately.

The Sex Pistols decided against producing new material for the tour and stuck to the 1976 repertoire which had made them famous. The band were disdainful of the media attention and were indifferent to any negative comments. This led to some fans jokingly referring to the tour as 'the same old bollocks tour' but, as always, the music was a huge success.

The proof of just how great these now legendary gigs actually were can be found in this powerful concert radio broadcast from Paris which captures the original Sex Pistols at their fast and furious best.
